These methodologies are engineered to ensure a balance between compact shipping dimensions and highly functional, expansive floor plans.
In the Centre Fold configuration, the fixed part of the pod is located in the center of the structure’s footprint. This central section houses critical systems such as electrical wiring, plumbing, and key amenities like kitchens and bathrooms. By centralizing these elements, we ensure stability and ease of installation while
minimizing the risk of damage during transport.
The foldable sections are on either side of the central core. These sections typically serve as living areas or bedrooms, where
"less infrastructure-intensive features" like furniture can be planned. This method is ideal for layouts where a balanced floor plan is preferred, creating an open and expansive environment on either side of the fixed amenities.
The Side Fold methodology positions the fixed part along one side of the pod. This configuration is particularly useful for linear floor plans, where the kitchen, bathroom, and electrical systems are consolidated along one side of the space. This leaves the remaining floor area open for larger, more flexible living spaces.
The folding section extends from the opposite side, providing an expansive area for living rooms, dining spaces, or bedrooms. This method works well for designs requiring an uninterrupted flow from one end of the pod to the other, offering a more rectangular layout.
